Wow! That really is impressive. Is that the final version of the circuit board? If so, that seems like a lot of empty space for your Rubik’s cube size box. Is there going to be any internal ports like a SD card slot or possibility for expansions for ram?
The system is great as it is, but I would like to know what you guys plan on doing with all that space.
I think the soda can is what the circuit card goes in…SURPRISE its a $99 cola!
Can we get a higher res image, something we can actually zoom in on, and look at all the bits and pieces
You can identify them in the new image, so we know what is on board the reference design!
That’s not even a 12 FL OZ (355 mL) can! Just held my Pepsi up to the picture for comparison. That is one *small* PCB! …for a console.
they better offer us sd card/ram expansion slots.
it would just be retarded of them not to.
that’s why i wish i was involved in something like this.
and had some pull.
i would enforced color options for different systems.
sd card expansion slots.
at least 2 usb slots.
upgradeable ram option.
i don’t care if it cost more money.
it would be worth it.
because as the lady said.
it’s our system.
we should be able to do what we want with it.
but how can WE TRULY do that if these are not our options to choose from.
“i’m a gamer…and truth is..i Care”
oh and make the special edition console ..actually “special”
so far..there’s nothing special about it.
it’s just porta-potty brown.
who’s ridiculous idea was it to come up with that?
“um..yea..*belch*..what we decided to do was…just waste everyone’s time and sell these two consoles with the same specs and call the different color one happy time harry’s special (ED)ition.
I was thinking along the same lines. However, I think they also need to take into account how to move air through the system, in order to keep heat down. Adding to much inside just makes that harder.
